Northern Lights at View Arts Center in Old Forge, NY focuses on artists based in the northeast working with light as the central aspect of their work. This exhibition showcases a wide variety of mediums to depict the wonder and diversity of light in art practices. Artworks shown includes lighting design, neon, shadow base work, stained glass, projection, and LED. Northern Lights aims to bring beautiful light pieces to the viewers throughout the winter in the Adirondacks. Bringing warmth and wonder to the cold months, when viewers from all over the East Coast come to visit. Showcasing how diverse light can be used as a subject matter or in combination with other subjects to communicate ideas within the artist's practice.
